new products often start life as an idea, a thought, a wish  which when fully developed solves a particular problem.

Each idea can go through a series of stages during its development from its concept to production . All these stages are not always required  for every product some require more some less depending upon the requirements of each particular project.

A typical process from taking an idea from concept to production could include some or all of the following stages.
